BEST FEELING. MOST DURABLE. It’s more than a tagline—it’s our promise.

OUR FOUNDER

G.O.A.T. Glove was built on resilience, craftsmanship, and an unwavering commitment to doing things the right way.

In the late 1980s, Jay Khan left a successful career in technology to return to Pakistan and spend more time with his parents as they entered the final chapter of their lives. What began as a deeply personal decision soon became the beginning of his life’s work.

While visiting home in 1987, Jay discovered a small workshop producing work gloves. What began as curiosity quickly became a mission: to create better gloves while building a company grounded in quality and integrity. He invested his savings, began importing gloves to the United States, and learned firsthand that lasting quality is earned through persistence—not shortcuts.

Early setbacks nearly ended the business, but they strengthened his resolve. Determined to elevate manufacturing standards, Jay dedicated himself to refining every aspect of the process.

His pursuit of excellence eventually led him to premium goatskin leather—renowned for its exceptional comfort, durability, and performance. That commitment helped reintroduce high-quality goatskin work gloves to the American market and laid the foundation for what would become G.O.A.T. Glove.

Today, G.O.A.T. Glove remains family-owned and family-operated, guided by the same values that inspired its beginning: craftsmanship, integrity, innovation, and respect for the hardworking people who rely on our products every day.

CREATING OPPORTUNITY FOR WOMEN

From the very beginning, Jay believed a successful company should create opportunity—not just products.

He transformed his childhood home into a free vocational training center for women, funded by the company. At a time when employing women challenged long-standing cultural expectations in the region, the decision was met with resistance. Yet he remained committed to creating a place where women could learn valuable skills, earn an income, and build greater independence for themselves and their families.

That vision became woven into the fabric of G.O.A.T. Glove. As the company grew, so did the opportunity to create meaningful employment for women while building a culture rooted in dignity, respect, and craftsmanship.

Today, we’re encouraged to see more businesses creating opportunities for women throughout the community. Watching that progress has become one of the most meaningful parts of our journey.
